It is a bird box but also a social and environmental project. The box is a laser cut design kit to be easily assembled. It contains a not invasive electronics that tells you when a bird comes in or out the box, sending a tweet to your Twitter account.
it can introduce adults and kids to the world of DIY, coding, ecology in a very simple way.
It is perfect for schools, because it combines the previous features to team work and cooperation, through the learning by doing methodology.
All the files of the project are uploaded on Github, and updated with new features. To start on this project you don't need special skills, just a WiFi internet connection and a hammer.
